Skills & Experience: 

Looking for a project manager with proficiency in the usual project management activities such as planning, executing, and monitoring.
However, the client wants someone with specific contract/procurement management related experience.
The project manager will be working predominantly with the procurement team on the retender of an existing high-profile contract which is expiring.
At a high-level this involves ensuring that the client has the right mechanisms in place to capture the existing requirements, engaging with procurement stakeholders to ensure they stay within their contractual obligations and planning the transition from existing provider to a new provider.
The project manager should have extensive Public Sector experience in a procurement / supplier management setting and ideally have specific experience procuring software and IT infrastructure services.
They will need to have a good understanding of public sector procurement law and be confident with having difficult conversations with suppliers. They must have attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in contract terms, deadlines, and deliverables.
Any relevant contract / procurement certification will be a bonus
