About Us
Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The district is a mixture of beautiful countryside, villages, and small towns. We are now looking for a Housing Options Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

The Role
As a Housing Options Officer, you will deliver a high-quality, customer-focused housing advice service to residents, assisting them with their housing options.
You will investigate and advise customers on their housing needs and options, ensuring the Council’s statutory obligations related to housing advice and homelessness services are met.
Additionally, you will:
- Assist customers with applications for housing support
- Liaise with external agencies and support services
- Work with the Housing Solutions Manager to assess homelessness cases and allocate resources
- Maintain accurate records and data for service reporting
About You
To be considered as a Housing Options Officer, you will need:
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to deal sensitively with members of the public
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
