We are supporting a well-established, market-leading, growing business in Shrewsbury, who have grown to the point that they now need a highly skilled and experienced Operations Leader to oversee the successful delivery of customer projects, from order through to installation. You will be overseeing a team inclusive of functions such as design, procurement, project management and installations. This will be a key new appointment within the business and you will be working as part of a small, but growing and successful business who are renowned in their market for quality innovation, and who are growing at rapid speed (already exceeding their financial turnover targets for the years ahead).

As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for:

* Developing, driving and implementing operational strategies that support growth

* Leading the daily operational activities across the design, purchasing, planning, and installations teams ensuring a cohesive and positive customer experience

* Seeking out and implementing process improvement opportunities

* Monitoring key data and statistics relating to projects and utilise the data for informed decision making

* Managing performance and ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently

Skills and Experience:

* Proven track record of success in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in an operations or general management role within a fast paced £15M+ construction related project management business

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams

* Deep understanding of business operations and best practices

* Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools

* Previous experience in roles such as Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager

* Knowledge and experience in steel fabrications would be advantageous but not essential
