Location - LeedsAbout the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students aged 11-16, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole-school training events.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
Support the school's aims and objectives for teaching and learning.Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
Experience teaching maths at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
