Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time | Pupil Referral Unit, Chesterfield

Aspire People is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Chesterfield. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting students with additional needs, helping them to thrive in an alternative education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Work 1-1 and 2-1 with students requiring extra support in lessons.
Support the class teacher in planned activities and study sessions with smaller groups.
Assist in managing challenging behaviour and offer support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Provide tailored assistance, ensuring each student receives the help they need to reach their full potential.
Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working within schools and the SEN sector.
Ability to handle and support students with challenging behaviour.
Experience working with pupils who have additional needs.
Must hold a valid driving licence.
