Building Surveyor OR Architect

Up to £50,000 (doe)

Full time, permanent

Devizes, Wiltshire (office based with travel to client sites)

Our client is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join their team. With previous experience as a Building Surveyor, Architect or Architectural Technologist, you will use your experience in architecture whilst training to become an Accommodation Expert Witness.

As well as providing Expert Witness reports Our client also provides Architectural Services and Property Finding Services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting in-depth property surveys, including measurements, client interviews, and evaluating specific accommodation requirements.
Preparing detailed documentation, such as survey notes and drawings, for both existing and proposed properties.
Collaborating closely with legal and healthcare professionals to understand client needs and project requirements.
Assisting in the creation of comprehensive expert reports.
Contributing to innovative design solutions for property adaptations or extensions.
Analysing costs and preparing accurate budget estimates.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A CIAT, RIBA, or RICS qualification as a Technologist, Architect, or Building Surveyor.
A strong understanding of building construction and design principles.
Experience in designing new builds and adapting existing homes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).This role is working Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm

You will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
