Job Title: Site Supervisor – Substation (Epping, Essex)
Location: Epping
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Site Supervisor to support a project based in Epping, North of London. The ideal candidate must hold the relevant Person in Charge (BECs Competent Person - Substation) qualification and have experience working in substations. This role requires individuals from a variety of trades, provided they are experienced in using their qualifications within a substation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage on-site activities to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the project.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly within substation settings.
* Work closely with the site team to maintain operational efficiency and address any technical or safety concerns as they arise.
* Ensure that all works are carried out to the required quality standards, within the project specifications, and in a timely manner.
* Report on progress, issues, and risks to the project management team.
Key Requirements:
* BECs Competent Person (Substation) qualification is essential.
* Prior experience working in a site supervision role, particularly within a substation environment.
* Candidates can come from various trades but must be experienced in using their qualification in a substation context.
* Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to substation work.
* Ability to manage and oversee a site team, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with site teams, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively.
