A LGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver needed to carry out work in a number of areas in and around Reading. Work involves the removal and disposal of wet waste, this is mainly Sewage, but may also be of a Commercial nature.

The salary is based on working 45 hours per week, 07.00 – 16.00 hrs Monday to Friday. Hours worked outside the above 45 hours will be paid at the overtime rate of £20.00 per hour.

20 days holiday per year will be paid plus 8 bank holidays.

A Pension is available after the first 3 months of employment.

Job Description:

* Drive and operate vacuum tankers

* Undertake vehicle checks at the start of each shift and report any defects

* Complete drivers Log Book

* Complete Waste Transfer Notes after each job

* Keep vehicles and equipment in good clean order

* Wear PPE issued and ensure it is in good condition and free from defects

* Undertake ad-hoc duties when your vehicle is off the road, or assist other team members

* Good communication with customers

Qualifications required:

* LGV Class 2 licence required

* Driver CPC required

Experience required:

* Driving and Operating vacuum tankers

* Good geographical knowledge would be beneficial

* Reading RG10: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

* Driving: 2 years (preferred)

* Tankering: 1 year (preferred)

* Driver CPC (required)
