We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Infotainment Application Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role involves the implementation of Infotainment systems for vehicles manufactured in Europe. You will collaborate with global teams, manage suppliers, and ensure that products meet quality, cost, and timing targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement Infotainment systems for European vehicles.
Develop and coordinate specifications and vehicle-specific requirements with global teams in Japan and North America.
Generate and release IVI configuration data for European vehicles.
Manage Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products to quality, cost, and timing targets.
Oversee in-house and supplier validation of components to design standards.
Collaborate with customer-oriented engineering teams to ensure global products match European customer requirements.
Work with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure technical solutions support business objectives.
Support sourcing and cost definition/reduction tasks with the purchasing team.
Ensure all system components are packaged and connected correctly to meet design and regulation requirements.
Report status to management at all levels.
Perform design reviews at key milestones.

Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Knowledge of various communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Knowledge of software quality assurance and basic understanding of software development frameworks (e.g., Agile).
Understanding of electronic mass production techniques and processes.
Working knowledge of CAD systems such as IDEAS or NX.
Manufacturing BOM management experience (advantageous).
Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including Excel at an intermediate/advanced level.
Fluent written and verbal English language capability.Nice to Have:

Relevant project management accreditation (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic architecture.
Basic understanding of systems engineering.
