About the Role:
Shift Pattern: Night shifts as part of a structured rota
Environment: Small, 2-bed home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Management: Work under the guidance of a highly experienced manager dedicated to supporting staff and residents
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and security of children during the night
Provide emotional and behavioural support to residents as needed
Monitor and respond to any incidents or emergencies
Maintain accurate records and logs of night-time activities
Assist with bedtime routines and morning preparations
Collaborate with day staff to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with EBD is preferred
Strong observational and crisis management skills
Ability to stay alert and responsive throughout the night
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Flexibility to work on a night shift rota
