Senior Site Manager - Luxury Hotel Fit Out

•£300 - £320pd (CIS)

• 6 month contract

A Freelance Senior Site Manager is required for a minimum 6 month on a £60m luxury hotel fit out to start by Monday 7th April 2025.

You will be responsible for the ground floor area, which will include:
• Front of House / Back Of House / Restaurant / Bar / Lounge / WCs

Your duties will include but not limited to:

Providing the Senior project manager with daily, weekly and monthly site reports.
Chairing weekly supply chain site meeting to resolve problems and review site progress.
Providing short term programme reviewing performance against targets and identifying and managing potential risks and opportunities.
Liaising with the design team to ensure team is working to latest revised drawings, discussing discrepancies and ensuring that any new revision drawings/spec are coordinated.
Issuing design team RFIs and updating register
Quality assurance and liaising with subcontractors to ensure all works are as built to approved latest revision construction drawings and design specifications.
Ensuring method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated.
Site walks with the H&S officer and Clerk of Works ensuring all reports are closed out and documented accordingly.
Implementing and upholding high standards of Health and Safety ensuring all subcontractors always adhere to site rules.
Liaising closely with the Commercial manager and Senior Quantity surveyor with monthly downstream and upstream payment valuations.
Understanding of each specialist sub-contractor's order ensuring supply chain are aware of their scope of works along with attending pre-start meetings with potential subcontractors with the Senior QS.
Your Experience should ideally include the following :

Hotels or Commercial fit out
Trade background - either carpentry & joinery or drylining & partitioning
Proactive, agile and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
Current SMSTS, CSCS card, 1st Aid
