Role Overview

We’re recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team based at our client’s site in Hills Road, Cambridge

You’ll oversee cleaning and associated duties for the team and make sure tasks are carried out to the required standards.  

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of the floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern for support from the Facilities Co-ordinator/Manager.
Behold weekly team meetings and briefing sessions with your team to ensure clear and consistent communication.
Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.
You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.

About You:

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
Desire to lead a team and oversee tasks
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as being flexible with working hours and days.
Good attention to detail is required.
Full clean drivers license is required, will need to be able to drive to different areas on the site to make store deliveries.
Helping manage the cleaning team across site, cover staff sickness and holiday absence.
To be able to carry out cleaning audits on the company mobile app.
Will have the use of a work mobile phone to contact staff and keep in contact with management, and use work apps for cleaning audits.
