Well known large service business based in the Manchester Airport Area requires a payroll assistant for their growing team. Reporting to the payroll manager and working in a large team this role offers a motivated working environment, my client is heavily invested in its people. This role is also hybrid and offers excellent benefits.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager duties for this role include:
* running multiple payrolls including weekly and monthly, consisting of 7 weekly and 1 monthly
* dealing with the end-to-end aspects of the payrolls
* handling all queries in connection to the payrolls
* handling SSP, SMP, Starters, Leavers, P11D's
* assisting with the development of the payroll department, looking for ways to improve processes
* working with Excel, TEAMS, word and outlook
* working with internal bespoke payroll processes
The right candidate will have;
* end to end payroll experience
* working with multiple payrolls with different deadlines
* excellent IT skills
* experience of handling end to end queries
* knowledge of pensions is an advantage but not essential
