The Role

As a Learning Support Worker, you will provide hands-on support to students with complex needs, helping them engage with their learning and daily activities in a meaningful way. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and medical professionals to ensure each student receives the highest standard of care and education.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide personalised support to students with PMLD and complex medical needs
✅ Assist with learning activities, therapy sessions, and sensory-based interventions
✅ Support students with personal care, feeding, and mobility needs (training provided)
✅ Promote independence, communication, and engagement in a structured environment
✅ Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals
✅ Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all students

About You

✔ A kind, patient, and compassionate nature
✔ Experience working with children or young people with PMLD, SEN, or complex medical needs (preferred but not essential)
✔ A willingness to assist with personal care and medical support (training provided)
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ A proactive and positive approach to supporting student development
✔ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
