Sea / Ocean Freight Team Leader

* Based in Trafford Park. Office of approx. 35 staff with a further 30+ in Aberdeen/Heathrow.

* Currently hiring for our General Cargo Sea/Air/Courier Division

Job Requirments

* Driver of operational excellence

* Lead a small team of seafreight operators (2-3)

* Ability to operate seafreight end to end. Export and Import + customs clearance, LCL, FCL, Crosstrade

* DG trained (valid or willing to get updated certificate upon joining)

* Operational team lead, will be responsible for daily operations and quotations

* +5 years’ experience in global freight forwarder handling all aspects of Oceanfreight

Benefits package

* Salary up to £40,000 DOE

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* Pension scheme which is being increased to 8% employer match over next 2 years. (current 5%)

* Working hours M-F 9-5 - Hybrid working 2 days a week possible after probation on agreement with line manager
