Masterclass are working with a specialist school dedicated to delivering outstanding education and care for students with PMLD and complex medical needs. They provide a safe, nurturing, and highly supportive environment, ensuring that every child receives the personalised care they need to thrive. They boost some fantastic facilities like a hydrotherapy pool, multisensory rooms and a high-tech music room.

The Role

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our care provision, ensuring the highest standards of safety, well-being, and compliance with CQC regulations. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring that our students receive outstanding care and support tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Ensure the school’s residential or care provision meets all CQC and Ofsted requirements
✅ Lead and develop a team of care staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion
✅ Oversee the implementation of individual care plans, working closely with medical professionals and families
✅ Monitor safeguarding procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students
✅ Drive continuous improvement in care practices, ensuring the best possible outcomes for students
✅ Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively

About You

✔ Registered Manager experience in a similar setting (children’s residential care, SEN school, or complex needs environment)
✔ Strong knowledge of CQC and Ofsted regulations
✔ Experience supporting children with PMLD, complex medical needs, and sensory impairments
✔ A compassionate, child-centered approach with excellent leadership skills
✔ QCF Level 5 (or equivalent qualification)
✔ Strong communication and team-building abilities
