Senior Quantity Surveyor - Fitout

£60,000 to £75,000 – Dependent upon experience

My client is leader within the UK construction market offering bespoke joinery solutions for Commercial, Residential and Specialist projects. They are a fast-growing joinery / interior fit out company looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Quantity Surveyor to join their Team.

This role will be based in london and is an excellent opportunity for a switched-on individual, with strong IT skills. You will need to be highly motivated, a great communicator, able to demonstrate an astute attention to detail, along with having a logical approach to work and excellent time management skills. Experience is preferred within a similar industry but not essential.

Duties:

* Work closely with your Divisional Project Directors, Project Managers and Project Teams.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Inhouse Teams and Subcontractors.

* Cost control, management of projects and internal cost reporting.

* Submission of monthly valuations and produce cashflow forecasts.

* Prepare and manage Subcontractor and Supplier accounts.

Position Requirements

* Excellent numeracy skills, IT skills with competencies in Microsoft Word and Excel

* Practical knowledge of quantity surveying procedures and commercial awareness

* Willing to undertake additional training as and where required.

* Understand the implications of decisions on the financial objectives and value of the company.

* The ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure
