Bartender (Monday to Friday) - Royal Exchange

Taking pride of place at the Royal Exchange Courtyard in Bank, the Fortnum’s Restaurant and Bar is one of London’s most Instagrammable restaurants. Serving a luxurious selection of fine caviar and oysters to hand carved smoked salmon with our very own selection of cocktails. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea 5 days a week.

We are currently looking for an experienced Bartender at Royal Exchange Restaurant and Bar. This is an exciting position for a Bartender looking to develop their knowledge in the finest beverages that we offer.

Key Accountabilities:

* Work alongside the team to ensure the smooth running of the Bar service

* Ongoing and up to date knowledge of the Wine Cellar, Cocktail menu and all other specialist beverages that the Bar offers

* Continuous improvement and development of knowledge of all wines, spirits cocktails and beverages served along with any recommended pairings

* Constantly looking for areas where we can deliver more

* Commit to deliver exceptional customer service at all times

* Ensure that all Bar areas are kept clean, tidy , well stocked and always ready for service

* Create and deliver an extraordinary customer experience, meeting all targets set

* Demonstrate thorough product knowledge of wines, spirits and all beverages served

We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:

* Demonstrate an authentic and passionate understanding of brand, menus and restaurant service

* Continuous improvement and development of knowledge of all wines, spirits cocktails and beverages served along with any recommended pairings

* Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

* Solid interpersonal and communication skills
