Our client is a leading commercial vehicle builders, looking to add an additional member to there team as a Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter.

This is a temporary role leading into a permanent position after 12 weeks that will be site based. Sheffield based candidates would be ideal. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic systems and components for HGV vehicles. Having a background in Mechanical Fitting is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, be adept at MIG Welding. If you hold a UK Drivers license or even a HGV license this is a plus! 

Details - Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter

In return for your commitment, you can expect: 

£13.50p/h - £16p/h DOE

7:30AM - 4PM

Monday-Friday

Paid breaks

Overtime is available in the week and at weekends but not a must

20 Days Holiday, plus Bank Holidays

Training and professional development

As a Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter, you will….

Assembling, installing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components

Read and interpret technical drawings & specifications

Competently carry out MIG welding and fit various vehicle body components

Troubleshooting hydraulic system issues and implementing effective solutions

Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs

Work closely with a production team to meet deadlines and customer requirements 

To be successful in this role for Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter you MUST have:

MIG Welding experience 

Vehicle body building experience

The ability to read and interpret technical drawings

A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
