The Role of a Cover Supervisor As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing the classroom environment during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on track with their learning. You'll oversee classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, and maintain a focused, positive classroom atmosphere. While you won't be required to plan lessons, you'll support students in staying engaged and provide assistance as needed, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.

Requirements for a Cover Supervisor

Previous experience working with young people, ideally within an educational or supervisory setting
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain an orderly learning environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptability, patience, and a commitment to supporting students of all abilities
