Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Pension Officer in Southwark. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

To provide comprehensive administrative support services to the Pensions Management Team
To ensure the provision of a high quality pension's service that meets service standards and complies with statutory regulations
To provide specialist advice and administrative support on pension issues
To assist with the establishment of relevant policies, systems and procedures in conjunction with the Council policy and procedures and to ensure the department complies with them
Deal with casework of different complexities, seeking assistance from senior officers, and provide guidance and support to Assistant Pension OfficersThe candidate:

2 years of experience within a local authority is essential
Previous pensions experience is essential
