Stores Operative / Band Saw Operative/ Semi skilled Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced stores operative to work for our client who are located in between Holmfirth and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A STORES OPERATIVE:

* Stock control / booking in stock

* Computer literate

* Cut steel using a band saw

* Measuring steels correctly and accurately

* Marking out

* Operating Automatic Saws/ Steel Bar Saws.

* Read and understand engineering drawings.

* FLT

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background

* Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

Working on days – Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm

Friday 7:30am – 1.30pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of £12.50 to £13.50 an hour depending on experience.
