Recently passed or have been qualified with Level 3 Childcare with more experience under your belt?

A local Abingdon primary school needs you! They want a Level 3 childcare Assistant to join their team, to be able to be responsible for a 1:1 student with SEN. The child manages higher level Autism so they need someone with more experience to be best approach every unique situation.

Many of the Primary Abingdon students being supported face various barriers in life and are more 'at risk' of negative outcomes. You will be instrumental in providing consistency, and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life.

Personal Qualities of the Level 3 Childcare:

Passionate about helping children to achieve their full potential
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
Able to build confidence and motivation
Approachable, and able to build robust and effective relationships with Abingdon KS1/KS2 students
Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict
High levels of empathy, caring, compassionate, and a good listener
Motivated and enthusiastic, with a professional approach to workBenefits of the Level 3 Childcare role:

Great working hours - usually 08:30 - 15:30
Excellent rates of pay - £83 - £90 per day
Term-time only
Primary KS1/KS2 Curriculum
Onsite parking
Learning Support staff network support
