We are seeking an experienced Travel Ticketing Manager to join a luxury travel company, hybrid working model based in London. This well known travel firm offers a range of holiday types from adventure to tailormade holidays.
Travel Ticketing Manager Duties:
* Manage and support the operation of the ticketing team that provides accurate, efficient and professional ticketing support.
* Effectively manage a small, experienced team of ticketing executives.
* Develop processes to fully utilise GDS functionality, improve efficiencies and to provide exemplary service to internal and external clients.
* Work in partnership with commercial air support to help deliver a global group air strategy.
* Managing fare distribution through Amadeus FareXpert.
* Provide air training support to the in-house training team.
* Reporting on air related issues – utilising GDS and internal reservation systems.
* Issue, revalidate, re-issue and exchange tickets.
* Process and apply for refunds, assist with BSP reconciling and handle ADMs/ACMs.
* Book business travel arrangements and provide high-quality professional support.
Travel Ticketing Manager – Essential Requirements:
* Team leader/manager experience within an air team within the travel industry is essential
* Expert understanding of Amadeus Selling Platform Connect
* Experience working within a tour operator
* Accredited ticketing qualifications
* Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of a travel business
* Encourage, develop and mentor direct reports
