Key Responsibilities as a Legionella Risk Assessor:

* Serve as the primary surveyor for water quality assessments.

* Conduct comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8 & HSG274.

* Ensure full statutory compliance, benchmarking systems against industry standards.

* Collaborate with clients to create action plans for sites that don't meet L8 standards.

* Perform monthly competency audits and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.

* Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments, temperature monitoring, and other water hygiene services.

* Use Visio to create schematic drawings (with training provided if necessary).

* Deliver Legionella Awareness Training to clients, enhancing their understanding of water hygiene and compliance.

Requirements for a Legionella Risk Assessor:

* A full UK driving licence is essential.

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor or in a similar role.

* Strong knowledge of Legionella Risk Assessments and water hygiene services.

* Excellent communication skills, both with clients and internal teams.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

* Competent in using digital systems for compliance and reporting.

* Experience in conducting and delivering training sessions is beneficial.
