Reed Engineering are working alongside or client who is looking to add a Quality Engineer to their team on a permanent basis in Glasgow.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pm

Salary: DOE

Daily Duties -

New product introduction including use of tools (e.g. PPAP, FMEA, APQP), first article inspection reports, creation of route cards and supporting documentation, communicating with customers, and resolving issues
Carry out data analysis, suggest improvement activities, and implement improvements e.g. Lean Six Sigma, RCA
Assist with supplier audit, raising of complaints, update approved supplier list and selection process
Support with non-conformance reports and implement corrective actions
Conduct internal audits and support external audits to relevant standards e.g. AS9100, NADCAP
Carry out material review board (MRB) activities, interpreting drawings and standards,
Update Quality Management System and support management where requiredCandidate Requirements -

Degree qualified within an engineering/quality discipline or relevant experience
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities
