Actio Recruitment is supporting our manufacturing client in Collingbourne Ducis in their search for a Trainee Obsolescence Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a specialism in electronics or mechanical engineering, as full training will be provided.

The Role:

* Support customers with engineering solutions for obsolete electronics and at-risk components.

* Identify and implement cost-effective and sustainable solutions to ensure long-term product support.

* Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to manage component lifecycle risks.

* Assist in maintaining product reliability and compliance through proactive obsolescence management.

About You:

* Background in electronics or mechanical engineering (training provided).

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist field.

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
