Pertemps are seeking dedicated and hardworking Refuse Loaders to join a local waste management organisation in Hemel Hempstead. As a Refuse Loader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and environmental health of our community by ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste and recycling materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Waste Collection: Work as part of a team to collect refuse and recycling from residential and commercial properties.
Loading: Safely load waste and recycling materials into collection vehicles.
Sorting: Ensure materials are sorted correctly into the appropriate sections of the vehicle.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Customer Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service to residents and businesses.
Reporting: Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements:

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and walking long distances.
Team Player: Strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills for interacting with the public and team members.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules.
