Quality Manager, Sturminster Newton, £55,000pa

Purpose

As a Quality Manager, you will lead the quality department, overseeing continuous improvement, quality assurance and health and safety processes.

Rubicon Recruitment’s client is a well-established precision engineering business known for delivering high quality, precision components to a range of industries.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Manager, you will:

Oversee the implementation continuous improvement techniques and processes within the quality and inspection functions.
Manage the internal audit program, producing reports and establishing improvement actions.
Deliver training on quality and health and safety programs.
Manage customer and internal NCRs
Develop and support quality improvement plans, championing a ‘zero defect’ culture.
Update and control documentation, policies and procedures relating to engineering and quality functions.
Lead and facilitate the HSE reviews ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented to improve future position.
Monitor and audit the initial risk assessment process and ensure all areas always maintain up to date risk assessments.
Background

The successful Quality Manager will have:

Experience of ISO9001 & ASO9100 environments.
Demonstrable experience within a Quality Management role
Understanding of high industry regulatory and quality requirements
Excellent organisation skills
Effective time management
Confident decision-making ability
