About the Role
The purpose of the role is to provide a professional Reviews service, primarily on matters of suitability of accommodation and allocations (registrations), which supports service delivery, contributes to the growth and development of the service and the skills and knowledge of staff across the directorate.
You will provide an effective service to end the main housing duty to households found to have breached the terms of their tenancy or license in their temporary accommodation.
The successful candidate will keep fully abreast of changes in legislation and case-law; recommending service improvements and policy changes in order for an excellent service to be delivered.

About You
• You must have significant knowledge around Part 6 & Part 7 Housing Act 1996 and associated legislation and case law.
• You must also have the ability to carry out complex investigations in relation to homelessness reviews.
• You will need to be resilient and have the ability to work to agreed and competing deadlines.
• You must have excellent written skills in order to be able to write complex homelessness decisions.
