Job Description: Service Charge Accountant

Salary: £30,000 £45,000 per annum
Hours: 08:45 – 18:00, Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced Service Charge Accountant with a passion for Resident Management Companies (RMCs) and proficiency in Qube software? Bond Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Edgware.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing service charge accounts for Resident Management Companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Handling financial aspects related to service charges, budgets, and expenditure for multiple properties.
Utilizing Qube software to streamline financial processes and reporting for RMCs.
Liaising with property managers, residents, and external stakeholders to address queries and ensure smooth operations.
Preparing year end accounts, reconciling statements, and managing audit processes effectively.
Providing financial analysis and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and transparency in service charge management.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
Proven experience as a Service Charge Accountant, preferably with a focus on Resident Management Companies.
Proficiency in using Qube software for financial management and reporting.
Strong knowledge of service charge accounting principles, leasehold legislation, and RICS guidelines.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in managing complex financial data.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to delivering high quality service to clients.
