Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across various age groups, including children and adults. Identify complex needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

Individualized Therapy Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for patients with a wide range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. Tailor therapy approaches to suit the specific needs of each patient, ensuring best practice interventions.

Treatment Delivery: Provide direct therapeutic interventions to patients using evidence-based methods and best practices. This may include one-to-one therapy, group therapy, or community-based interventions.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver holistic care to patients with complex needs. Participate in case discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary care planning.

Training and Education: Deliver training and support to other healthcare professionals, education staff, and carers regarding communication strategies and how to support individuals with speech and language difficulties. Ensure that staff are equipped to implement therapy techniques in the patient’s everyday environment.

Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and support to junior speech and language therapists and support staff. Guide and mentor them in clinical practice, and help develop their skills and knowledge
