Quality Assurance Officer
Ashford – 5 days on site
35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
£35k-£45k dependent on experience
Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively representing a leading organisation based in Ashford, in their search for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer.
This role requires a compliance professional with a meticulous attention to detail and a calm, confident methodical approach.
Working as part of a small team, key duties include
Carrying out internal audits, ensuring adherence to relevant standards (ISO 17024)
Regularly reviewing audit reports and communicating amendments to internal and external stakeholders
Investigation of and reporting on non-conformities
Extensive collation and analysis of data
Providing and preparing reports, presentations and recommendations to the wider team
Process mapping
Delivering training
Supporting stakeholders bother internal and external by offering guidance and advice where appropriate
Accurate document control including drafting, reviewing, storage and distribution
Any other duties as required
To be considered, you will have:
A proven track record working in an analytical quality role
Knowledge of quality management systems and processes
Carried out process mapping in a previous role
A meticulous attention to detail
An excellent grasp of the English language, both written and verbal
The ability to use Excel to analyse data and present findings clearly
Good personal presentation skills
Experience delivering training
Managed projects previously
Some experience of risk assessments
A cool, calm, methodical approach, even under pressure
Worked with external agencies, membership organisations or professional bodies, ensuring compliance with regulations, specifications or standards
Demonstrable experience in the management and implementation of quality management systems.
The BEST candidates will have:
Experience of the following quality management systems: ISO 17024; ISO 17021; ISO 9001
A professional auditor qualification/certification
Worked within a manufacturing, engineering or pharmaceutical discipline
