Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a hugely successful manufacturing company, who are looking to appoint a sales focused Global Product and Business Manager. Reporting to senior level, the role of Global Product and Business Manager will be to drive product sales by using strong leadership, technical knowledge, and business acumen. The role of Global Product and Business Manager involves analysing market trends, understanding customer needs, assessing competitors, and creating effective product roadmaps and pricing strategies to boost revenue and margin growth in existing and newly created products. The role does include some international travel.

The role of Global Product and Business Manager will interface regularly with R&D, engineering, supply chain, finance and operations as well as full management of the business development team, to position the company to maintain leadership status in their field

Principal accountabilities of the Global Product and Business Manager

* Exploring and opening new markets to expand business opportunities

* Developing product and sales strategy and optimising the product portfolio, including planning and project prioritisation

* Overseeing the development of product roadmaps

* Managing product positioning in the marketplace, including rationalising pricing strategy based on market conditions

* Addressing operational issues related to quality, delivery, and production

* Managing Internal Sales and Business Develop Managers to meet their targets

* Identifying, evaluating, and prioritising legislative, competitive, and technical discontinuities and their impact

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge of the Global Product and Business Manager

* Ideally degree educated in an engineering discipline

* Product management or equivalent experience.

* Experience within B-to-B sales
