Waites Recruitment Consultancy are seeking a Principal Designer to oversee compliance with Building Regulations (PDBR) and Construction Design Management (CDM), to join our multi-disciplinary consultancy team, based in our Kent office. It is a hybrid role between working in the office and from home.

This is a Full Time position and my client is looking to interview immediately and hire immediately. Fantastic opportunity to work for a brilliant company.

The role will include:

* Giving expert advice on Building Regulation compliance.

* Team leader for the PDBR department.

* Work closely with the client to fulfil their legal duties.

* Lead design stages of projects.

* Ensure projects meet health and safety standards.

* Keep up to date with UK Building Regulations and Legislation.

* Design review and comments.

Requirements:

* Proven knowledge of Building Regulations, construction design, and safety compliance.

* Good understanding of the PDBR role and PDCDM role.

* Good understanding of UK Building Laws.

* Building Regulations Registration desirable; APS, etc

* NEBOSH or IOSH accreditation.

* Good communication skills.

* Good management skills.

* Good organisational skills.
