Job Description:

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Year 6 Supply Teacher to join our team, providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the Darlington area. This role is a temporary position starting in October 2024 and running until January 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on students' academic journey during their crucial final year of primary education.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 students, following the National Curriculum.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
Assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency in the students' education.
Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2 students.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
A current, valid DBS check registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
