Space 8 Recruitment are proud to be supporting this growing FMCG company who are already number one in the UK in their field. This role is based 4 miles South of Birmingham City Centre and offers hybrid working; 2 days in the office and 3 at home. 

We are looking for a Supply & Demand Assistant, who may already have some experience in Supply & Demand or forecasting and who wants to start their career in Supply & Demand.  This is an entry level role. 

The role: 

This role joins a busy Procurement & Planning Team as a Supply & Demand Planning Assistant.  

Support Supply and Demand Managers in their daily activities.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand and support their supply and demand needs.
Attend and assist in meetings with external manufacturers to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
Collate and report data accurately to aid in supply and demand planning.
Handle day-to-day ad-hoc requests such as emails, data collection, and proactive responses and actions.

What are we looking for? 

You  may already have some exposure to Supply & Demand, gained in any industry.  You might only have limited exposure at the moment but you must be passionate about building a career in Supply & Demand / Procurement / Supply Management. 

You must be enthusiastic and eager with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
You will be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
You will have exceptional numeric, written, and oral communication skills.
You must be able to confidently use excel.
