Belmont Recruitment are looking for RMN’s to work a NHS based position, within a mental health inpatient unit located in the Enfield area, as part of the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Trust.

The service is currently looking for RMN’s for a contract position working as a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager. Any clinical knowledge and experience in providing education for patients within the mental health sector and supporting the daily running of a ward is advantageous.

Purpose of the service;

* Participate as a member of the MDT and help implement a patient centred approach to care.

* Help with the day-to-day running of a 17 bedded female acute adult inpatient unit some of which are being detained under a section of the MHA, co-managing bed capacity, flagging any potential delays in patient flow whilst also contributing to efficient functioning of the clinical team and working alongside the Ward Manager.

Duties will involve;

* Risk assessments.

* Communication with staff and relatives.

* Emergency and Site Co-ordination duties.

* Give and receive appraisal.

* Clinical supervision.

This position is full-time – working 37.5 hours per week on a rota’d basis (no nights required).

Pay rates;

* Days: £30.00

* Saturdays: £37.50

* Sundays/Bank Holidays: £45.00
