Social Worker – Family Safeguarding Team

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Rate: £39 per hour

Cambridge County Council are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding Team in Ely.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and skilled social worker to contribute to the safeguarding of vulnerable children in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing long-term child protection cases

Undertaking complex child protection (CP) work and Pre-Proceedings (PLO)

Representing in court proceedings

Working within a dynamic and supportive team to ensure the safety and welfare of children

Essential Experience:

Proven experience in complex child protection work

Knowledge of Pre-Proceedings and Court processes

Strong ability to manage long-term cases and meet statutory requirements
