KS2 Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working with a primary school in North Liverpool (L8) who are seeking a full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant to work 1-2-1 with a child in Year 3 who has Autism

.This role is starting in Sept 2024 and will be a temporary, long-term role.

The School are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child’s learning needs for this KS2 Teaching Assistant position. The working hours are 08:30am- 15:30pm, Monday to Friday.

KS2 Teaching Assistant- Role & Responsibilities:

· Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children

· Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

· Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate

· Deliver catch-up sessions

KS2 Teaching Assistant - Non-negotiables:

· Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two years

· Must have a passion for education

· Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher

· Must be reliable and punctual
