TECHNIA is looking for an Software Developer to join our team of engineering experts. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis. The position is a hybrid role, and the successful candidate will be expected to come in the Milton Keynes office 2- 3 days a week.

The Software Developer role:

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, and maintenance of specialized software solutions using a variety of programming languages. Your expertise in these areas will be instrumental in enhancing our engineering processes and contributing to the success of our projects.

Join our team of engineering enthusiasts and use your expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE development to drive innovation and efficiency in our engineering projects. As a Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our engineering capabilities, contributing to our continued success in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Our Software Developer will:

Collaborate with engineering teams to understand specific requirements and workflows that can be improved or automated.

Design, develop and customise 3DEXPERIENCE / CATIA applications to enhance functionalities and automate repetitive tasks.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and coding standards.

Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to development standards.

Implement efficient and well-structured code to create solutions that improve productivity and reduce manual efforts.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in 3DEXPERIENCE and CATIA and related programming languages, incorporating innovations into your work.

Any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you by your line manager, including development activities, which are within your capability and grade.

Follow all company procedures and policies

Mentor, guide and coach the less experienced members of the team

Who do we think would suit this role?

Experience, skills and knowledge we are looking for in our Inside Sales Executive:

Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on CAD/CAM or equivalent experience.

Alternatively, industry experience in engineering, IT or PLM related subject along with other industry recognised qualifications such as a BTEC - ONC, HNC or HND.

Strong expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE or CATIA programming language, with a proven track record of developing solutions.

Solid understanding of 3DEXPERIENCE software functionalities, data structures, and engineering workflows.

Experience in engineering process automation and design optimization.

Customization and configuration of 3DEXPERINCE Platform (both Cloud and on Premise).
