Excelsis are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie for our client based in the beautiful countryside of Northamptonshire near Daventry.
Key responsibilities include:-
* Ensuring that guests receive at all times through effective communication, with all departments the highest level of customer care.
* Work along with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain standards set by the Company Operating Standards, ensuring the Kitchen hygiene standards are, without exception, adhered to.
* Ensuring all costs are kept in line with the Kitchen budgets agreed by the company
* Assist the Sous Chefs and Exec Chef in ensuring that all culinary standards in that section comply with company and Hotel Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Monitor food and operating costs and controls these by reducing waste.
* Train the kitchen porters in that section of kitchen in the skills necessary for them to perform their function.
* Work in any sections of kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Senior Sous Chef or Exec Chef.
* Ensures that set ticket times are met and communicates to management if not met.
* Ensure all costs are kept in line with the Kitchen budgets agreed by the company
* Ensure that all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
* Assist the Sous Chefs and Exec Chef in ensuring that all culinary standards in that section comply with company and Hotel Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Works in any sections of kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Senior Sous Chef or Exec Chef.
* Is familiar with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate the flexible use of colleagues.
you will be expected to work a 40 hours week with a mix of early and late's.
