An exciting opportunity to join our industry-leading client in the FMCG sector, known for producing and distributing top-quality products nationwide. As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the team, covering all aspects of mechanical equipment maintenance within a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery within a fast-paced production setting.

* Conduct preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, prioritizing breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to production.

* Operate a variety of workshop tools and equipment, including welding and fabrication tools.

* Resolve equipment faults with limited spares, working independently to meet tight production deadlines.

* Collaborate with a diverse team to continuously improve the reliability and maintenance of the site.

Requirements:

* Engineering experience within a manufacturing or equipment manufacturing environment, with experience in food production being a bonus.

* Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to fabricate, weld, and operate workshop equipment.

* Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain strong attention to detail, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

* Solid experience in mechanical fault finding and maintenance, particularly with food processing machinery, pneumatics, refrigeration, steam boilers, and production lines.

* PPM system experience (e.g., Shires, Access Control) is desirable.

* A proactive problem-solver who can handle tight production schedules and unexpected breakdowns.

* Possess both electrical and mechanical skills, with a bias toward mechanical expertise.

* Experienced with various machinery and systems in a manufacturing environment.
