Are you working in a Mechanical Engineering manufacturing environment and looking to step up to be a Sales Engineer? My global client is looking for a Sales Engineer who can bridge technical expertise with customer needs.
Your role as a Sales Engineer will include:
* Creating quotations for clients.
* Offering consultative solutions to their needs, creating tailored proposals.
* Collaborating with the global sales team and customers, acting as their go-to technical advisor.
* Managing contract documentation and handover processes for seamless project execution.
* Partnering with internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
The ideal Sales Engineer candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a Sales Engineer. Applications Engineer, Customer Support Engineer. Technical Representative, Product Support Engineer or other relevant experience.
* Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
* Experience in a mechanical engineering manufacturing environment in the UK.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Attention to detail and a methodical approach to solving problems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
