Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Royal borough of Greenwich, South East London
Salary: Level 3 Pay scale, based on experience
Start Date: September 2024
The school is located near an overground stations and several bus routes. Free parking locally to the school site too. CPD is offered throughout placement.

The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the team, providing essential support to both teachers and students.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with complex needs
* Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
* Supporting students with autism and other special educational needs
* Leading interventions and tailored enrichment activities
* Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school culture
What We’re Looking For:
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, flexible, and patient approach to supporting learning
* A nurturing and empathetic attitude towards students with complex needs
* The ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team
