Machine Shop Manager required immediately to join a manufacturing company in Nottingham. The role will entail overseeing the machine shop to ensure it is ran as effectively and efficiently as possible.

The role will involve:
- Overseeing the machine shop and all of its processes
- Managing the machines shops deadlines and budgets
- Being a hands on manager and getting stuck in when needs be
- Training new members of staff and apprentices
- Reviewing and improving systems and processes
- Working with a variety of machines including both CNC and manual

The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a machine shop
- Have great knowledge of CNC machinery and Mazatrol controls
- Be able to work to deadlines
- Strong communication and man-management skills

Package offered:
Permanent position
Up to £45,000 per annum doe
Day shift
Immediate start
