Jonathan Lee Recruitment is partnering with a niche client in the luxury automotive sector, seeking a full-time Operations Manager to lead their classic car rental and storage business, with a focus on prestigious events.
Role Overview:
As Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all operational aspects of the business, ensuring the highest standards of service while maintaining our reputation as a leader in the luxury car rental and storage industry. This position involves working with high-net-worth individuals and prestigious car brands, managing a niche rental and storage operation that includes operations, customer service, planning and co-ordination along with team management to ensure exceptional customer service is delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance business performance, streamline services, and strengthen the company’s market position.
Financial Oversight: Support financial plans, implementing effective measures to drive profitability and achieve company targets, including pricing, contract negotiations and review of financial reports.
Industry Awareness: Keep abreast of current industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation proactively.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and consistently delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective strategies and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients, including organising company events.
Team Leadership: Inspire and lead the team, fostering a positive working environment and providing support to maximise staff potential.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, assets, and employees.
Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the premises, ensuring they reflect a prestigious and welcoming environment for clients.
Skills and Experience:
Previous exposure within a leadership or senior management role, ideally within the luxury automotive, car rental and/or events sector with the ability to motivate others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively maintain client relationships.
Exceptional organisational abilities and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies to attract and retain high-profile clients.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of quality and service.
Strong business acumen and financial management skills to drive profitability.
IOSH qualification is desirable.
