Quality Engineer

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000

An opportunity has opened for a Quality Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Rochester. The ideal candidate will have a couple of years’ experience working in a quality biased role for an Engineering company and ideally have experience of ISO 9001 auditing or similar.

What they’re looking for:

* Experience working as a Quality Engineer, Technician or similar within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry

* Experience of ISO 9001 – auditing ideally

* First Article Inspection experience

* Knowledge of continuous improvement

* Excellent documentation experience including reviews and compliance checks

* Engineering and Manufacturing knowledge

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

* Working with the rest of the Quality and Inspection team, reviewing products

* Providing visual and hands on inspection on products and components

* Conduct internal audits in line with ISO 9001 and other standards

* Perform first article inspection

* Conduct documentation reviews and compliance checks

* Drive continuous improvement
