Job Title: Cleaning / Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Peterborough / Huntingdon

Employment Type: Full-Time - Temp to Perm

About the Role:

My Client is seeking a motivated and experienced Cleaning / Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. If you have a passion for cleanliness, attention to detail and a knack for managing outdoor spaces, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate cleaning operations across various facilities, ensuring that all areas meet high cleanliness standards.

- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning tasks and grounds maintenance to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.

- Train, mentor, and lead a team of cleaning staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and grounds maintenance plans to optimise efficiency and resource allocation.

- Collaborate with management to address any client concerns or special requests related to cleaning and outdoor maintenance.

- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and grounds maintenance equipment, ordering as needed.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Assist with grounds maintenance tasks as needed, including landscaping, lawn care, and trash removal.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a cleaning supervisory role, with a strong understanding of cleaning best practices and techniques.

- Experience in grounds maintenance, including knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor equipment.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and grounds maintenance.
