An established and reputable manufacturer of high-quality bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, and whole-home furniture is seeking a Factory Production Manager to lead its skilled production team. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring expertise in furniture manufacturing alongside strong organisational and team management skills.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Lead a skilled manufacturing team providing guidance and support.
Oversee workflow management, ensuring a productive and safe working environment.
Maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
Drive continuous improvement, identifying efficiencies and optimising processes.
Conduct training and performance reviews to develop the team.
Oversee technical handovers, production planning, and stock control.
Ensure seamless handover to installation teams and provide aftercare support as needed.
Engage with clients where required, demonstrating confidence and professionalism.

Key Requirements

Strong background in bespoke furniture manufacturing, joinery, or carpentry.
Experience in factory production management, ideally within a woodworking environment.
Proficiency in technical drawings and woodworking machinery.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Understanding of health & safety regulations and quality control measures.
Ability to manage KPIs and operational targets.
A full UK driving licence is required
